Support
Basilical Heritage for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Write to info@basilical.com. One person answers, usually within two working days. During the beta, telling us what is wrong is the most useful thing you can do — the rough edges are the point.
The map is empty where I am
The heritage pins come from OpenStreetMap. Zoom in: pins appear from zoom 11 and photo cards from about zoom 13. If a site you know is missing, it is missing from OpenStreetMap too; the page of a nearby site shows how to add it, and the app will show it after the next weekly tile build.
A page says “No article”
The site has no Wikipedia article in your content language. Try “Other languages” on the page, or change the content language in Settings.
Can I use it offline?
Not yet. The map and the pages are fetched as you look at them. Offline maps are in development.
Is there an Android version?
In development. The beta is iPhone and iPad for now, and runs on a Mac with Apple silicon through “Designed for iPad”.
Can I write my own tour?
Not in this version. It is being built and will arrive in an update.
Where is my bucket list stored?
On your device only. Share it with the Share button in the Library; the link contains the sites, nothing about you.
Does the app track me?
No. No account, no analytics, no advertising. See the privacy policy.
Why does it ask for my location?
Only to centre the map on you and to sort “Near me” search results, and only when you ask for either. Deny it and everything else works.
Something is wrong on a page
The text comes from Wikipedia and the facts from Wikidata. Fix it there and the page fixes itself; the “Read the full article” link takes you to the right place. Tell us too, so we can check the app did not misread it.
How do I join or leave the beta?
Join from the form on the front page: you get a confirmation mail, and clicking the link in it sends you the TestFlight invitation. To leave the mailing list, use the unsubscribe link at the foot of any mail from us. To leave the beta itself, delete the app from TestFlight.

Purchases are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. The app itself is free.
